Istria's past is unrepeatable and magnificent. Today, it is the only Croatian Region witnessing significant positive trends in almost all areas of life.

However, Istria currently also faces numerous challenges that can be solved to our mutual benefit only with common efforts of all of us living in Istria. Nobody can decide anything on his/her own, and nobody has the right to decide individually of our shared destiny. For this reason, I invite everyone who wants to help us with his/her knowledge, experience, courage, and visions.

Competitive economy, vigorous science, creative culture, and constant environmental protection are only a few of the objectives we are already realising.
